Our Responsibility
O'Barret X scARTo
O’Barret participated in Milan Loves Seoul, held from 27.02.26 – 01.03.26, at Palazzo Bovara during Milan Fashion Week.
This opportunity was made possible thanks to the scARTo-circular project. scARTo is a creative hub where designers and artisans are invited together to freely use scrap materials from large industry designer brands. By lowering barriers to entry for young designers at the beginning of their careers through circular economy principles, their operations support the diversity and freedom of expression within the creative community.
Milan Loves Seoul is a project created to accelerate cultural exchange and dialogue between Italy and South Korea, spotlighting designers who redefine fashion through unique perspectives, innovation, and a shared commitment to sustainability.
For us, this represented more than an exhibition. It was an opportunity to share our work with a wider audience, present the narratives behind our designs, speak about our origins and principles, and engage in meaningful conversations with a community that sees fashion as culture.

At O’Barret, the concept of upcycling and repurposing has naturally been integrated into our supply chain. By extending the life-cycle of pre-existing items, such as the carpet that became the jacket, or the curtain that became the shorts, both sourced from second-hand shops, we required no virgin materials to be produced, and kept valuable pre-existing materials out of landfill. This ensures the additional benefit of each item being entirely unique, which is a key factor in the longevity and sentimentality of garments at the consumer stage. Working with projects like ScARTo in our future creations allow for the scalability of our production as we grow as a brand. They provide the foundations for us to grow while maintaining the same values established in our original collections.
O'Barret for Fundación Madrina
For O'Barret's February 2026 Runway Show with TOT*, we dedicated our efforts in support of Fundación Madrina.

Fundación Madrina is an organisation aimed at combating child and maternal poverty. It provides comprehensive support to mothers and pregnant young people with limited financial resources or facing social vulnerability in Spain, which has one of the highest child poverty rates in the European Union.
Founded in 2000 by Conrado Gimenez Agrela, Fundación Madrina is committed to supporting children born in vulnerable circumstances, guided by the conviction that those raised in environments of love, dignity and opportunity can become agents of positive change in the future.
O'Barret's collaboration with Fundación Madrina is born from a shared commitment to protecting motherhood, defending childhood, and restoring dignity to women facing social and economic vulnerability. As a female-led creative team, we believe that empowering women goes beyond celebrating their visibility. It means standing beside them in meaningful ways. We hope for further collaborations with similar charities in the future to set O’Barret’s legacy as a women first brand.
